Took in my 82 bronco with multiple leaks and needing a tune up. Its hard to get a place to even smog it let alone do mechanical work on it. They were able to handle all the leaks and left it running perfectly at a fair price and in a reasonable amount of time. I would definetly recomend this place for older vehicles.

Went in the day before moving OOT cause my Dad noticed the front bottom of my car hanging off; 10 minutes later it was all fixed and I was on my way. I asked how much it'd be and they said free of charge. I will be coming back here again if I'm in town and need any work done on my car.

After a local dealership quoted me an exorbitant amount for a repair that could lead to an even more expensive repair, I knew it was time for a second option. After asking a few people for recommendations, I decided on Sam Moore’s. A few days after I dropped the car off, I was called with a diagnosis and a quote. Whereas the dealership was quoting me $7K to $10K for a broken head gasket or cracked cylinder head, they diagnosed me with a clogged fuel injector and a $550 repair! It’s very refreshing to find an honest, experienced mechanic and I’ll be sure to recommend Sam Moore to anybody looking for a mechanic.

Brought my 1982 vehicle for some work and diagnostics. The shop was very nice on the front side, and as soon as I was given the quote for work to be done, it went south quickly. I questioned why the parts were double what I could order them for and I also inquired why the labor cost was so expensive. For the overall project, they were billing me a total of $2,400, and after 2 minutes of making calls and ordering the parts myself, I will only be paying $1,200. My concerns were ignored and rudely spoken with moving forward. I was then told good luck getting someone to work on the vehicle. I had to pick up the vehicle that day, or they were going to charge me $100 per day, and they would only accept cash even though the shop accepts credit cards. They knew I was out of town for the week and should have mentioned something about the $100 daily fee. With this vehicle being a manual transmission, I had to track someone down to get it for me and make sure that the person could bring cash. Very rude shop to work with and started to make it almost impossible to even get the vehicle back from them. I will never go there again. I will never recommend going there.

I made an appointment in July 2021 for my 2001 Chevy S-10, in order to get an estimate to repair several fluid leaks and an over-all check-up. I spoke to Dave. After their inspection, it was determined that I had several minor leaks - oil, power steering and shocks. In addition to this, I was made aware that the bigger issue was that my 20 year old truck needed brake work all around. My funds to spend on this old truck was limited, so I had Sam Moore's Automotive complete the brake work and I received my truck back in a timely manner. Once I drove the truck, it seemed to pull to the right a bit. I returned to Sam Moore's Automotive and they resolved the minor issue to my satisfaction. Due to the cost involved to resolve the original fluid issues, I have had to postpone the other repairs until funds are more readily available. The safety of myself and my family outweighs the minor fluid leaks. For this reason, I am very thankful to Sam Moore's Automotive for discovering and resolving a major safety concern. I am completely satisfied with the service work I received at Sam Moore's Automotive and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these fine folks to my friends and family.
